What this app knows about you
Your email address, which assets you have added to your watchlist, any note or price you attached to one, and when you acknowledged the disclaimer, along with your chats, notification preferences, activity read marker and digest delivery records. The usage telemetry described below is kept separately, keyed to your browser and, while you are signed in, linked to the account as well.
Euxie Signal (“Signal”) deliberately never asks what you hold, what you bought it at, how much you have, or whether you acted on anything it said. There is no portfolio, no broker connection and no position tracking — so there is no financial position here to leak. Only your own account can read your watchlist, and that is enforced by the database rather than by application code.
What is not personal data
Prices, headlines, indicators and the AI's calls are the same for everybody. They are fetched and generated on a schedule whether anyone is signed in or not, and every signed-in account reads the same rows.
What goes to Google
The analysis runs on Google's Gemini API. What is sent is market data: price history, computed indicators, public headlines, and the app's own past calls on that asset. Nothing about you is sent — not your email, not your watchlist, not your identity. The scheduled analysis does not know who its readers are, because it runs when nobody is there.
If you use the chat to ask about a call, an asset or the record, the question you type and the earlier messages in that chat are sent to Google along with the app's market data and calls it is about — never your email or your watchlist. Your chats are kept in your account until you delete them or the account. Do not type anything into it you would not want processed by a third party.
Third-party data sources
Prices, news and sentiment come from Binance, Twelve Data, Finnhub, CoinGecko, alternative.me and the CoinDesk and Cointelegraph news feeds. Those requests are made by this app's servers, never by your browser, so none of those providers sees your IP address or anything else about you.
Limits
Daily watchlist email is optional and off by default. If you enable it, your address and a brief about your followed assets are sent through our email provider, Resend. Your notification preferences, activity read marker and delivery records are private to your account. Every digest includes an unsubscribe link. These records are removed when you delete your Signal account data.
The AI is paid for by the person running this site, so the scheduled analysis has a daily budget and each account has a small daily allowance for asking questions. The app tells you when you reach it.
Usage telemetry
To understand how Signal is used, it also records what you do here as telemetry — which pages you read and when you acknowledged the disclaimer, together with the questions you ask, watchlist edits, asset selection, digest preferences and contextual chat use. Specifically:
What we store
- Your activity — which actions you take and when.
- The content you process — the pages you view, the disclaimer acknowledgement, and the questions you type into the question feature. Do not enter anything here you would not want stored, including passwords, secrets or personal documents.
- Your network and device — your IP address, an approximate location derived from it, your browser and operating system, language, time zone, screen and window size, and similar technical details your browser exposes.
- A device identifier — a random id kept in your browser’s storage so we can recognise return visits. It is also stored in a cookie so our servers can recognise the device. It is not tied to your name and clearing your browser storage resets it.
- Page views via Vercel Web Analytics — the hosting platform records which pages are visited, referrers, and coarse device and country data. It sets no cookies and identifies a visitor only by a hash that changes daily, so it cannot follow you across days or sites.
- Performance via Vercel Speed Insights — the hosting platform measures how quickly pages load and respond (Core Web Vitals), with the page, device type and country. It sets no cookies and does not identify you.
- Your account — while you are signed in, telemetry recorded from this browser is also linked to your account (its id and email address), so we can see what one account did across devices. Deleting your account unlinks that telemetry but does not delete it: the records stay under the device identifier, without your account or email. To have them removed as well, ask separately (below).
- Support access — to diagnose a problem, the operator can sign in to your account and see the app as you see it, without learning or changing your password. Each access is time-limited and logged, and does not sign you out anywhere else. Nothing done during it is recorded as your telemetry.
- Feedback you send — your bug reports, feature requests and replies are stored linked to your account, so the maintainer can answer them on your Requests page, and each new report is also emailed to the maintainer. Deleting your account unlinks them but does not delete them.
How long we keep it
Stored data is retained indefinitely unless you ask us to remove it.
Requesting deletion
To have your data deleted, use the feedback button in the app (the message reaches James Argarin) and mention your device identifier if you have it. We will remove the associated records.
Saving to Scribe
When you choose Save to Scribe, this app sends that call: its levels, rationale, risks, cited headlines and outcome to your Euxie Scribe account as a new note, together with a link back here. Nothing is sent until you press the button. Scribe is part of the same Euxie account, so no separate sign-in is involved. The note is yours in Scribe from then on: it stays there until you delete it in Scribe, and deleting your account here does not remove it. Scribe may index the note for its AI search, as it does every note you write there.
Your agreement and email choice
When you create an account, Signal records which version of the terms of use you agreed to and when, and whether you asked for product news and offers by email. That box starts unticked; you can change your answer under Account at any time. It is separate from the daily watchlist email above. Deleting your account turns promotional email off; the record of what you agreed to is kept with your sign-in.
Bot check on sign-in
The sign-in, sign-up, password-reset and account forms run Cloudflare Turnstile, a check that the visitor is a person and not a script. It runs in a frame served by Cloudflare, which reads your network address and technical details of your browser to decide, and tells this site only whether the check passed. Cloudflare states that it uses those signals to detect and block bots, not to identify or profile anyone; its Turnstile privacy policy describes them.
Deleting your account
Delete your Signal data from the account page. Your watchlist, chats, disclaimer, notification preferences, read marker and digest records are removed. Your shared hive sign-in and email remain available to the other apps. The market data and the AI's calls stay, because they were never yours — they are the same shared record every signed-in account reads. The log of your own AI questions (token counts and timings, never what you asked) stays with your hive sign-in too, so deleting your data does not reset the daily allowance. Usage telemetry is unlinked from your account but not deleted — see above for how to have it removed.
